COMMITMENTS
Our social commitment
Our company aims to do more than simply supply healthy rabbit meat from our own farms. Beyond this primary objective, we have a more global vision, with a strong social dimension. We are resolutely committed to improving the quality of life in our host village.

To offer work to the young people of our suburbs
Rabbit droppings, also known as rabbit manure, are distinguished by their high nitrogen and phosphorus content, two essential nutrients for plant growth. Rabbit manure thus makes a significant contribution to soil replenishment and enrichment. What's more, rabbit manure is dry and odorless, making it particularly easy to handle. It takes the form of small, hard droppings, mainly made up of undigested hay. As the production of these droppings is high in our rabbit cages, we have found an innovative way to recycle them. As part of our social commitment to having a positive impact on our community, we redistribute these droppings to local farmers. Indeed, our area is predominantly agricultural, with farmers constantly on the lookout for quality fertilizer. Rabbit manure proves to be an excellent natural fertilizer, offering an ecological alternative to the chemical fertilizers often used.
This effort is part of our global strategy to reduce our environmental impact. Indeed, in addition to our social contribution, we firmly intend to minimize our ecological footprint. To achieve this goal, we have opted to use solar energy to power our facilities and well water for our water needs. This combination of environmental actions reflects our commitment to building a sustainable, environmentally-friendly company.
Environmental impact of rabbit farming
Rabbit farming is the breeding of domestic rabbits. In Côte d'Ivoire, this activity is not very widespread, unlike ordinary production activities. However, it is one of the best eco-responsible activities. On our breeding farm in Abidjan, we have opted for several ecological solutions to protect our rabbits' environment.

Well water, an inexhaustible source for rabbits.
Water is essential to the survival of rabbits. It's undoubtedly the best solution for keeping these animals healthy. Good, fresh water helps maintain rabbits' body temperature. With nutrient-rich water, farm animals eat more and put on weight quickly. In our case, we chose well water to water all our rabbits. We believe that water is a rabbit's first food. It's essential that they drink water regularly to stay healthy. That's why we've had a well dug on our farm's breeding site. Thanks to this well, we water all our rabbits and provide them with the elements they need to grow. What's more, well water is inexhaustible. Our proximity to the village river means we always have water of excellent quality. It's unpolluted, free from foreign matter and hazards. By opting for well water, we save on the use of tap water. As access to this water is very limited, not only in Côte d'Ivoire but throughout the world, we do our utmost to limit our consumption of drinking water.

Natural energy throughout the breeding area
Solar energy is a natural energy. It's renewable, inexhaustible and clean. It's perfect for small animals like rabbits. With this energy, rabbits grow naturally and can regulate their body temperature. It also provides them with the warmth, vitamins and nutrients they need to grow. The use of this energy produces no waste or pollutant emissions. In view of all these advantages, our rabbit farm in Abidjan has opted for solar power generation. For the well-being of our precious pets, we have decided to generate electricity from the sun. We use this electricity with the utmost respect for the environment. As this energy is inexhaustible, it has a great influence on our rabbits. It helps us avoid air pollution and keeps our animals in good shape. Another factor to note is that solar energy improves the quality of our well water. The effect is just incredible! By transforming the power of the sun into energy, we provide clean water for all the rabbits. What's more, we supply farmers with our animals' droppings free of charge to use as fertilizer in their fields. Thanks to this collaboration, every rabbit can eat good food.

Natural energy throughout the breeding area.
Rabbit farming has no negative impact on the environment. It is a great economic support, regardless of the production area. It's easy to get started and, above all, inexpensive. As rabbit production is abundant, it helps to boost incomes. When farming is perfectly controlled, as is the case with our farm in Abidjan, the whole community benefits.
